When to travel Monday 15th June - NO test and NO quarantine required but limited flights You can travel to Greece from the 15th June without having to get tested or doing a 15-day quarantine. Nevertheless, flights will be restricted from some destinations until the 1st July. Wednesday 1st July – All flights resume globally and to all Greek airports On 1st July, Greece will be accepting travellers from all over the world and resuming flights from all destinations and to all airports in Greece. Only exception will be countries that by the 1st July will still be at high COVID-19 risk, and therefore special regulations and timeframes might apply to them. It is expected that after the 15th July there will be no restrictions. How to travel Greece has reported one of the lowest records on COVID-19 cases globally with only 192 casualties, and has been acknowledged as one of the safest destinations to travel at the moment. The summer season in Greece runs until October and the weather is still nice. Do consider booking later on in the summer, if you are unsure on outbound flights in July. You will also be able to secure better availability and rates. We are expecting a hot summer, so chances are you will spend more time outdoors than indoors. Most Food and Beverage outlets offer table service in Greece, even in bars, so it’s highly unlikely that you will have to queue and wait in a crowded space anywhere. All transport methods have been regulated to ensure safety distance at all times.

Sufficient quarantine accommodation available per county ( 600 new quarantine beds around the Greek islands). Every travel location in Greece has been studied separately and its proximity to health care stations, in order to ensure that if a COVID-19 case is identified, the traveller can have access to health care and can be isolated immediately in order to protect others.
