The program is designed to spark curiosity and inspire a love for history by introducing school-age children to the captivating science of archaeology. Through a carefully structured, interactive approach, it helps young participants understand how archaeologists uncover the stories of the past and bring ancient civilizations to life.

This educational experience unfolds in two immersive stages:

Familiarization with Antiquities – Children begin their journey by exploring the fundamental principles of archaeology. Through engaging discussions, visual materials, and real or replica artifacts, they learn how ancient objects reveal clues about everyday life, art, and culture. This stage encourages observation, interpretation, and appreciation for the importance of cultural heritage.

Hands-On Excavation – In the second stage, children become archaeologists for a day. Working in a specially designed excavation site, they use authentic tools and follow real excavation methods to uncover concealed artifacts buried in the sand or soil. Once the discoveries are made, they proceed to clean, restore, record, and classify the objects—just as professionals do. Through teamwork and guided exploration, they experience the thrill of discovery and develop a deeper understanding of the care and precision involved in preserving the past.

By combining education, play, and scientific discovery, this program transforms archaeology into an exciting adventure—encouraging children to think critically, collaborate, and connect with history in a hands-on, memorable way.
