Swim with sea turtles

The private tour starts in the early morning, when you are collected by luxury mini bus, to be transferred to Zante Town. Upon arrival the relaxation begins as you board the open speedboat in the picturesque harbor and feel your worries melt away as you enjoy the amazing harbor skyline and the bright turquoise seas of the Ionian beckon, while your guide points out the places of interest, with nice historical and flora and fauna information. We will make our way to Xingia sea spa. The turquoise blue sea here contains traces of sulfur and collagen. The sulfur and collagen pours down from the mountains into the sea and has been proven to offer significant health benefits. A swim in the healthy waters, will revitalize your energy and polish your skin. Many visitors have reported feeling younger and relaxed due to this natural phenomenon in the North of Zakynthos.

Next on the itinerary is a stop into the beautiful Blue Caves, to take photos of the sea caves and arches, as well as the stunning translucent blue waters. Those who wish to fully experience the phenomenon of the Blue Caves can take a dip in the blue waters. Your whole body takes on the blue hues but do not worry though, this is just an optical illusion and the blue hue will disappear once out of the water. We then sail towards shipwreck bay and as one of the first arrivals to Shipwreck Bay, we enjoy a very peaceful, and often exclusive, time on the famous Shipwreck Beach.

After the fascinating views and stories told about the Shipwreck, it’s time to explore another secret jewel for more swimming, before we make our way for lunch to Porto Roxa. Porto Roxa is like an untouched pearl and is situated in a small fiord outlet in between 2 cliffs. Beautiful unspoiled setting with the most wonderful Greek traditional Taverns. Back on board the speed boat, it’s time to harmonise with the last chords of this symphonic tour as we sail towards the outstanding beauty of the rock formation the Mizithres. We will sail in between those two iconic rock formations, on our way to towards the photogenic Marathonisi island, better known as Turtle island. Here the boat stops for photographs while your guide explains all about this amazing white sandy beach and island, known for its importance as a nesting area of the Caretta Caretta loggerhead turtles. From here we go for last part of the tour as we create your turtle spotting adventure, we nearly always have the chance to take a snapshot of these enchanting animals up close, in an eco-friendly manner.
